Is Taylor Swift releasing ‘Midnights’ on ‘Thursday Night Football’?

Taylor Swift isn’t releasing her full “Midnights” album on “Thursday Night Football.” She is releasing a teaser trailer during it.

The suspicion that Swift could be involved with “Thursday Night Football” began when studio host Charissa Thompson hinted at Swift’s album release during halftime of the Bears vs. Commanders game in Week 6.

At first, it wasn’t clear whether Swift would be performing live during the program or if there was some sort of video performance planned. It was later announced by Swift via her official Instagram that she would be dropping a “teaser trailer” to kick off her week-long “Midnights Manifest.”

When is Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ teaser trailer airing?

Swift announced in a video posted to social media on Thursday that the “Midnights” teaser trailer will be aired at some point in the third quarter.

“Thursday Night Football” starts at 8:15 p.m. ET and games run for about three hours, give or take. The third quarter should run from about 9:45 p.m. ET to 10:30 p.m. ET, though it could start later or run longer depending on the pace of the game.

When is Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ album release?

Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” album will be released at midnight ET on Friday, Oct. 21. The teaser video will air a couple of hours before the full album is made available.

After that, Swift will continue to release music videos throughout the week — the first will be “Anti-Hero” at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 21. She also has a “special very chaotic surprise” in store for her fans at 3 a.m. ET the day of the album’s release.
